Attorney J. Stephen Crim II

The Firm was founded by J. Stephen Crim II to assist victims of all types of personal injuries. Steve grew up in Dallas and attended Richardson High School, just north of the city.

After graduating from The University of Texas in Austin, with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Philosophy, Steve was admitted to the prestigious University of Texas School of Law. While at the U.T. School of Law, he took a diverse range of legal courses, and participated in moot court and mock trial competitions. He also traveled abroad to study, spending a semester in London, England at Queen Mary and William College. After graduating from law school and becoming licensed in 1996 by The Texas Supreme Court as an Attorney and Counselor at Law, Steve briefly worked at an Insurance Defense Law Firm, gaining valuable insight into the methods by which Insurance Companies conduct business. Thereafter, Steve worked with a very large personal injury firm in Texas, devoted exclusively to helping injured Texans. There, he found his true calling – - helping those injured in accidents.

As a plaintiff’s personal injury attorney, Steve has already helped thousands of injured clients. The Crim Law Firm was founded in 2001, and has offices in both Dallas and Houston. The Firm has an extensive support staff and Steve oversees the management of the entire structure. From case inception, through litigation and jury verdicts, Steve helps injured clients.

Steve is licensed to practice in all state courts in Texas. In addition to being a member of The Texas Bar, he is also a member of the American Association of Justice, The Texas Trial Lawyers Association, and the Houston Trial Lawyers Association, where he is a Board member. Steve is also a member of the American Bar Association.

Attorney Jonathan Kieschnick – Board Certified Personal Injury Trial Law

After obtaining an undergraduate degree in Business Administration from the University of Texas at Austin, Jonathan C. Kieschnick graduated from South Texas College of Law in Houston and was licensed as an attorney by the Supreme Court of Texas in 1996. From the outset of Mr. Kieschnick’s legal career, personal injury litigation has been his primary focus. For the first seven years of his practice, he plied his trade at formidable defense firms as an attorney who represented large corporations and insurance companies in personal injury cases involving wrongful death, industrial disasters, construction accidents, premises defects, medical negligence and motor vehicle collisions. Those years as a defense lawyer enabled Mr. Kieschnick to learn valuable inside information as to how cases are defended, evaluated and tried to juries.

Armed with insight that only an experienced personal injury defense lawyer can possess, Mr. Kieschnick left the defense practice in order to devote his time, resources, expertise and passion to the representation of people injured as a result of the negligence and carelessness of companies and/or individuals. Mr. Kieschnick is Board Certified in Personal Injury Trial Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization and is firmly committed to professionally and aggressively pursuing the interests of his clients all the way through the litigation and trial process in order to maximize the value of his clients’ claims.

Attorney Martin Rueda

Martin Nicolas Rueda is of counsel to our firm, and oversees all of our day to day Dallas operations. He has spent his whole life in Texas, graduating from Houston Baptist University with a Bachelor’s in Psychology and Spanish, and then earning his Masters degree in Health Administration thereafter.

Martin attended Texas Wesleyan Law, in the Dallas-Fort Worth Area, where he earned his Juris Doctorate in 2009. He is a member of the Texas State Bar. From initial client interviewing, through the claims’ process, and into litigation, Martin diligently manages our Dallas clients’ interests. He is completely fluent in Spanish and believes in a strong commitment to his clients. As a committed personal injury attorney, he believes that victims of personal injury have a right to just compensation for losses arising out of their injuries. Martin also practices criminal defense litigation in the Dallas area.

Attorney Peter Morowski

Peter D. Morowski is one of our valued litigators. He joined the firm in September of 2010 as a law clerk and then began working as an attorney upon his passing of the bar in November of 2010. He graduated from The University of Texas with a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics and Anthropology. Following his graduation from UT, he attended Gonzaga University School of Law in Spokane, Washington where he earned his Juris Doctorate. While attending Gonzaga, Pete served as a legal intern for the Gonzaga Federal Indian Law Clinic, where he represented members of the Kalispel Tribe of Indians in both Tribal Court and State Court.

He is licensed to practice law in all of the state courts in Texas. Additionally, Pete is licensed to practice in Kalispel Tribal Court. Pete is also a member of the Houston Trial Lawyers Association (HTLA), Houston Bar Association (HBA), and the American Bar Association (ABA).
